THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

It would be difficult to hold our baby without thinking of the many "Thank Yous"
that must be said. So many, that we have decided to add a special
page for those individuals and agencies. We sincerely speak from our hearts
when we say Thank You and may God bless you abundantly!
----- Scott and Ohilda Bombardier

First and foremost, with thankful hearts, we thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
from where all good things come.
We KNOW we have this blessing because of You and we give You ALL the glory!!

Our hearts will forever have immense gratitude to our baby's birth mother for having the courage
to give birth to this child, and for taking such risks to offer him a better life.
Although we do not know the exact reasons of why you could not
raise him, we want you to know that we will always cherish this gift and keep you in our
prayers that God fill your heart with as much happiness, joy and love as you have filled ours,
by saying "yes".

A very big thank you to Harrah's Family Services and their staff, especially our dossier
consultant, Stephanie Reid, who went above and beyond making sure that all of our paperwork
would go without a hitch, and to Sherry Walker, who spends countless hours finding
homes for these beautiful children. Harrah's is the BEST!
We take this opportunity to ask that if you heart is moved in any way to
help the orphans left behind, please make a donation to
Harrah's Adoption International Mission , a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Their goals are to
bring not only medical aid and the basic necessities of life, but also to help provide education,
foster care, Hugging Grannies, needed books and learning materials for the children. China has
over 2 MILLION children in orphanages. I am sure ANY size donation will be appreciated!

We will be forever grateful to the People's Republic of China and to the China Center of Adoption
Affairs (CCAA) for their trust in us in knowing that we will forever love, protect, and provide for
our beautiful new son.

And last, but of course, not least. to our family, friends, and church community for your love,
support, and prayers. Also, a very special thank you to the wonderful friends we have
made in the adoption community. We could not have gotten through this without you!
We will have a forever bond that only adoptive parents can share.

I came across this poem on the internet and it helped
in answering the questions I think about when I think of all the orphaned children.
about world poverty, and about the elderly that have no one to take of them.
When we have those times that we say "Why God?".
this poem should be a reminder to us all as to why we He created us.
Why?
"On the street I saw a small girl,
cold and shivering in a thin dress,
with little hope of a decent meal.
I became angry and said to God:
"Why did you permit this?
Why don't you do something about it?"
For a while God said nothing.
That night he replied, quite subtlety
"I certainly did do something about it.
I made you.'"
